The Brain Tumor Program offers patients the collective expertise and care of specialists from both the Florida Hospital Neuroscience Institute and the Florida Hospital Cancer Institute. The strong collaboration between neuro and oncology specialists helps provide patients with the most effective treatment possible for brain tumors and other complications of cancer. Headed up by two specialized neuro-oncologists, the Brain Tumor Program provides a multidisciplinary approach to the diagnosis and treatment of patients with brain and spine tumors. Patients benefit from sophisticated neuro imaging techniques that offer advanced diagnostic capabilities. The Gamma Knife is a non-invasive procedure that allows physicians to operate on brain lesions often considered inoperable. Gamma Knife offers new hope for patients with brain tumors, vascular malformations and functional disorders.

Gamma Knife has been successful in treating benign and malignant brain tumors as well as other medical disorders and can preserve neurologic function. The Florida Hospital Gamma Knife Center is the only Gamma Knife center in Central Florida and the Space Coast.
